Following reports in the Sydney Morning Herald and the Age newspapers yesterday regarding Parliamentarians’ Certification, I have received an apology from the Department of Finance and Deregulation:From: ……………………………………………………. @finance.gov.au]

Ministerial and Parliamentary Services received Ms Bishop’s certification of her entitlements usage on 3 November 2011 (copy attached).
The Department’s website will be updated with the certification details overnight.
I apologise for our oversight that led to incorrect details being published on the Department’s website.

The Sydney Morning Herald has since issued a correction on its website. The Age has issued a correction in today’s newspaper. The Department of Finance and Deregulation has corrected its certification list.
