To be able to represent you effectively, I need to hear from you about the issues affecting the people living in Curtin, and so that I can provide you with the most up to date information about Government policies and priorities. I hope this website helps me to achieve both these aims.
There are over 150,000 constituents in Curtin from a diverse range of backgrounds. It is a privilege to represent the wide range of people, community groups and businesses comprising our electorate – learning, listening and tackling the issues affecting the electorate.
As the Minister for Foreign Affairs, I am also able to provide the Curtin electorate with a voice at the Cabinet table in Canberra. The inclusion of Tourism and Investment within the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade portfolio will also ensure that I am able to promote WA’s economy and attractions on the world stage.
I encourage you to explore the website and catch up on the latest news about Curtin and the Australian Parliament. Don’t forget to come back regularly to keep an eye on what is happening at the local and national level.
I look forward to you contacting me with suggestions for the website or to discuss Federal Government issues.
The Hon Julie Bishop MP
Federal Member for Curtin
Minister for Foreign Affairs
Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party
