Curtin is a photographer’s dream

Following the success of the 2012 Curtin Calendar competition, Federal Member for Curtin Julie Bishop is pleased to announce that she will once again be exhibiting the artistic talent of local photographers in her annual Curtin Calendar.

As the local member, Ms Bishop produces a calendar each year depicting local people and places from around the electorate of Curtin.

“There are thousands of talented professional and amateur photographers who live in the Curtin electorate and the annual Curtin Calendar is a chance for the photographic prowess of local residents to be exhibited,” Ms Bishop said.

“With the beautiful Indian Ocean to the west, Kings Park to the east, Herdsman Lake to the north and the Swan River to the south, the Curtin electorate is a photographer’s dream and home to hundreds of picturesque locations iconic to Western Australia and the western suburbs of Perth.

“I invite local residents to submit images for the inclusion in the 2013 Curtin Calendar which is distributed to local organisations, schools, councils and constituents.”

Entries for the calendar must be a landscape high resolution JPEG image, at least 3MB at 300dpi suitable for print reproduction.
